Unlike last week, I am working more through Twitter and no longer getting as lost. I want to focus my research on canines, specifically the relationship between dogs and humans. However, I am not closing myself off to other ideas, but this is what I find most interesting. thus, many of my tweets were research articles that looked at domestic dog intelligence. I did not find many informational ideas to help my research this week, but the main focus was on animal rights. It was interesting to see all the different perspectives on the issue and its many layers. Similarly, my responses to those who advocated for animal rights but also some relatable comments from people's more humorous posts. I would say my most informational/useful post was the different facets of animal consciousness research. the article delved into NYU's declaration of how research has demonstrated the realistic possibility of conscious experience and should therefore be more responsible with welfare risks for animals.
Hi! I also am finally getting used to Twitter. I was pretty lost before. One question I have was why specifically are you trending towards focusing your research on canines? What is motivating you to do so?
I also want to research dogs! What kind of preventative measures did the NYU article present? It sounds interesting and a like a very important topic.
